New Vendors At This Year’s Farmers Market
On Thursdays from 3 to 7 PM during the summer and early fall, Welburn Square in Ballston transforms into a beautiful farmer's market with a variety of fresh produce offerings. The vendors at the Ballston Farmer's Market will not disappoint: find conventional and certified organic fruits and vegetables, grass-fed meats and pasteurized eggs, organic milk, yogurt, ice cream, sweet and savory baked goods, Virginia-made wines, cold-pressed juices, handmade soaps and lotions, wood-fired pizza, hot-pressed sandwiches, and more. This year, we have a handful of new vendors that we've added to the mix that you should get to know.
Try something new to drink and check out Cassava at the market. Serving boba teas and Vietnamese coffees, you will delight in the company's commitment to only crafting drinks with organic and locally sourced ingredients.
This bakery is more than just fresh, real-ingredient bread; it has a mission much bigger than that. Second Rising works to enable women who have survived sexual exploitation find healing and job training in a safe environment. They bake their bread to bring new beginnings.
