Taste Of Arlington: The Festival You Cannot Miss!

On May 21st, Arlington's largest food and beer+wine festival is back once again! This can't-miss festival, which is in its 30th year, is presented by Courthouse Social and benefits BallstonGives. You will feel alive with entertainment, food, fun and friends at this growing event, drawing approximately 50,000 people to Wilson Blvd. You will get a flavor for the thriving local food scene from over 60 restaurants and food trucks. But it's not just the food you can enjoy, here is a rundown of everything you can experience this year at the Taste of Arlington!

Girls on the Run 5K

To kick off the festival, runners of all ages can complete the Girls on the Run 5k in the morning. The run includes thousands of Northern Virginia girls celebrating the completion of the healthy living program Girls on the Run. Your group can register for the 5k here, there will be special awards for family finishers!

Live Music

This year's live music line up includes popular cover bands such as Burnt Sienna and Jeff From Accounting in addition to up and coming band His Dream of Lions and crowd favorite The Jack Diamond Band. Grab a tasty craft beer and rock out to some great sounds with your friends. To learn about each band and sample their music, visit the event's live music schedule.

Beer & Wine Garden

Taste of Arlington is the place for beer lovers! With two beer and wine gardens on either end of the event, you will be able to sip craft beers all day long! This year's brewery line up includes local favorites like New District Brewing Company, Bold Rock Hard Cider, and Devils Backbone, as well as some great craft breweries outside of the DC metro area, such as Troegs Brewing and Sweetwater Brewing Company. We will also have Barefoot wines throughout the event for our wine fans.  Be sure to stop by the Courthaus Social Pavilion where they will be featuring a number of beers, including their special anniversary brew and 'best of the best' winning food. The first 1,000 people to visit their pavilion will receive a commemorative beer stein!

KidZone

If you are coming to the festival with your children, be sure to take advantage of KidZone. There, your family will find inflatables, carnival games, face painting, and a rock climbing wall. C.C. The Clown performs a magic show in the afternoon as well!
